Common questions.
How do I create a group?
Open the app, tap the "+" button on the Group screen, give the community a name, and invite your first members by using the group code. Groups are private and invite-only.
How do I invite people?
Inside a group, click the → People → tab. At the top there should be a group code. Share the group code to your fellow kith so they can join the group. If you cannot see the group code reach out to the group owner.
How do I leave a group?
Open the group, tap Settings in the top right, then "Leave Group." Owners need to transfer ownership before leaving.
How do I delete my account?
Two ways. In the app, open Profile → Delete Account and confirm. If you can’t sign in, request deletion from our account deletion page — we’ll email you a confirmation link to verify it’s you. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, your messages, prayer requests, and events; any communities you solely own are deleted for their members too.
How do I export my group's data?
GroupKith does not support exporting data.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check the OS settings for the app first — on iOS, Settings → Notifications → GroupKith; on Android, Settings → Apps → GroupKith → Notifications. Then check the in-app notification settings under Settings → Notifications.
How do I report a bug?
Email hello@groupkith.com with your device model, OS version, app version (Settings → About), and steps to reproduce. Screenshots help.
Is GroupKith free?
Yes — small groups, families, and neighborhoods are free. The only thing we’d ever charge for is large organizations that need extra storage and advanced admin tooling; the core experience stays free.
